299hp 284ft lb with 2 boltons!!! 04 evo

well... i have an 04...just got my car dynoed and tuned saturday and im impressed.
i have HKS: exhaust, downpipe and intake and megan testpipe/resonator.
bought my car used and the first pull was 270hp 260ft lb... so obviously it was tampered with b4.
after the reflash i got a whopping 299hp and 284ft lb torque
wow!

These are the expected numbers, and that's more than 2 bolt-ons.

the IX BOV, and the 05 MR BOV I believe are the same (the aluminum jdm bov); but yes it should be a good choice.

did the bolton's come with the car... or you put them on afterwards... cause if you had 270 wheel... and after those bolt on's... that's not much of a gain... like what... 29 hp????....

Even if you put your stock BOV on, you still going to hear it because of an intake. But it won't be as loud as HKS one. From outside if will be barely noticable, but inside the car you will hear it

All 03-05s got the same plastic BOV. The aluminum BOV is the JDM MR DV along with the IX DV, but not the 05 USDM MR.

You need to get rid of the intake to make it quiet, not just get rid of that HKS SSQV, but the JDM MR DV will at least be quieter than the HKS if you keep the intake.
