It is a waste if you ask me and it's not like the Evo's are being mass produced. It's not the how much it cost, but what the car is that bothers me. They should have bought her a 3 series bimmer instead. But hey, to each his own right

When I was in buying mine I did see a high-school-aged looking female checking "that cute yellow car in the showroom." I listened over the divider as the salesman basically talked her out of that and into an Eclipse Spyder. It was funny to hear him say it was to much of a race car for her, and he actually almost talked her into it when he mentioned the Fast and Furious connection. What finally killed the EVO deal for her was the fact that she'd have to go buy tires in 5 months.

From a looks standpoint she was very interested. From a maintenance standpoint whe was done.

My wife can drive my car when I am dead... or critically injured, both legs compound fractured, then only to someplace where she can call an ambulance. If I only have one broken leg, I'll drive myself.

Heh... nobody drives my car but me. As for the "wide" thing... she's killed people for less...

Well, thats a different story. If you paid for it yourself, that's fine. I'm talking about all these parents that buy their kids cars over and over again, like it's spare change. The rest of us work hard for our stuff, why can't they?

For female Evo owners try www.lancerregister.com - plenty on there. My lady drives mine but she usually uses the BMW Z3M - 321 bhp, LSD but no traction control to spoil the fun!

Some kid came up to me yesterday while I was walking out to my car and he said "my friend has two of them" and I said......"two of what?"
kid: "your car.......a white and black one"
me: "oh really, why not just have one?"
kid: "because his dad is really rich and he wants him to have one for each of their houses"
me: "nice"

Parents in orange county never cease to amaze me. There is a kid on my g/f's street that got a brand new M3 SMG as a graduation gift. For my graduation I got $25 from my grandma.

Well, if anyone is ever around my area you will probably see my Evo being driven on occasion by my mother or the girl I am seeing. I let them drive it whenever they want.
