Wingless = Better MPG?
The wing does cause drag, so an improvement is expected. I think in other threads it was determined that it is worth a a mph or two at the drag sstrip. I think I get about 220 miles to a tank with my wing.

No way that has to do with your mileage. The wing creates downforce probably over 80mph and is very aerodynamic otherwise. Unless you are constantly driving 100mph, I really doubt the tiny surface area would cause that much resistance.
Have you had your car tuned at all, if so you may be pulling timing and flooding your motor with fuel, or possibly a boost leak to mess it up even more. JUst a couple thoughts, I always get 200 + miles per tank, but I did get poor like you and found out I had a few small issues.
