*Two Manual Boost Controller Install Questions*

They're legit. Gone through most threads already. Installed my Hallman Pro MBC last night. Input to turbo nipple, and output to WGA nipple. I capped the input nipple on the stock boost control solenoid like in this picture of JSCSpeed's write-up from Hallman (reference step 5, the hose with the dotted line): http://www.hallmanboostcontroller.com/howto.html
Should I leave this dotted hose in-place connected to the nipple on the stock intake tube or cap both off? Most references show both boost control solenoid nipples and the nipple on the intake tube capped and tube removed. Just confirming it won't hamper the effectiveness of my MBC. Currently running 20psi and will spike to 21psi. Started at about 11psi turned all the way down. I thought there was a restrictor pill in the dotted hose as well. Thanks, just following up on my install.

Yep...I'm just gonna pull the hose and cap it...one less thing in the engine bay. I'm in Yorktown right where it meets Newport News.

So is it better to Tap the Manifold/BOV Vaccum tube or off the lower IC pipe Nipple?

I am hearing it is better to tap the manifold for a boost source.

I just put a Hallman pro RX in my basically stock Evo on Monday, I tapped into the BOV line and it works awesome, it used to taper down to 16 now I am holding 20 to redline. It might just be my imagination, but I swear it spools up quicker too. This is on an 03 with stock tune, stock exhaust, open airfilter and thats it.

I ran new vac lines .. put a nipple on the piping?

What is the benefit or no benefit to getting rid of that T in the stock line that goes to the piping?
