Help from Defi-D EGT guage owners
Help from Defi-D EGT guage owners
The dealership was doing some work on my car, fixing the AC unit to be exact, and SOMEHOW they decided to take apart my gauges on the a-pillar. The mechanic pulled the wires out of the back of my EGT gauge and the clip is still in the rear of the gauge. I was hoping that someone could still have the diagram so I can show the mechanic where the wires need to go into the gauges.
Thanks a lot; I swear that the dealers can’t do a thing right some times.

Thanks guys, I told the dealer that I want them to fix the gauge...they tried to re-wire it but it ticks from 19 to 20...he turned around and told me that he was going to charge me for the AC unit then because the gauges would have voided my warranty. I almost went off on him, but I guess he had a point. Just not a dealer I'm taking my car to again I guess. Thanks for the help guys, it’s actually the wires going into the clips shown above, he managed to pull the wires from the plastic clip completely.

I think he did it on purpose especially since you went back and he gave you trouble about it

Some warranty work can be understandably be denied when you look at aftermarket modifications. I wouldn't try to get work done on my engine after I did a flash, a boost controler, an exhaust, cams, or forged internals. However, to say that an EGT gauge caused your A/C to go bad is really strange. Unless the routing for your probe interfered with your A/C lines or something, I don't see this being possible. If it did, you shouldn't have ever try to get it warrantied in the first place.
More info needed, and I think TTIWWP.
