Rode in a 37R/E85 Evo 8 today!

Cliff notes: Rode in an E85 powered, 37R turbo'd, beast. It was scarily fun!

So we got a new salesperson at my dealership today, and we were all talking about cars and just generally BSing and he mentions his friend has a bad-*** Evo. At first, I thought he was just talking out of his *** and probably knew a guy w/ basic bolt ons.

Nope.

He called his friend, guy's name is James I believe. It's a black VIII, with Ferrari, Lambo, Vette, Porsche, and Viper logos on the side, crossed out. Had a weird turbo, T4 something but it was the size/characteristics of a 37R. 272 cams, 1600cc injectors, magnuson intake manifold, Full Race exhaust manifold, and was running on E85 @ 30psi !

He offered to take me for a ride, right around 5k it spooled and it THREW me back in the seat, and talk about loud. All I heard was his wastegate after it spooled up, I loved it. It actually spiked to 33psi when we were redlining 3rd gear (according to his Apex'i FC). Crazy ****! It really made me miss my old AWD Talon :/

I havent had that much fun in a car since I first got my Z06

37R is not a turbo in the Garret catalog per se, it is a T67 DBB full frame T4 app. Its also Magnus intake not Magnuson.
