Just installed the Injen Intake with gReddy UICP

I just got done with an install. I put a Injen Intake with the gReddy UICP/ Tial VTA. Very tight fit but looks great, I will have pics tomorrow. I also have it with the XSPower Intercooler, Which I am still trying to massage the LICP on. Just isnt fitting perfect.

Is anyone else running these two parts together?

Are cars MAF meters the air that comes in and then adds fuel for that amount of air. When you VTA you are adding fuel for air that is not there. Which can add to stalling issues and or popping when shifting or stumbling.

If your using injen intake cone it might rub against the hood...i have to use Dremel
trim the hood part.

I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to run the Injen UICP or the gReddy. The gReddy seems to be thicker and more solid. But the Injen fits and looks better with the intake I have. The Injen has a stock BOV flange and the gReddy has a Tial Flange. Does the diameter of the pipe matter much?

I have installed a few full Injen intake/Upper IC pipes and I did not have to dremel the hood. Proper adjustment made everything all right.

The tial BOV without a speed density car will not run right. It does not mean it can't be done it just means you are losing power because all air is blows off is metered and the engine has to make that air up after each shift. You will feel a significantly amount of lost acceleration after shifts. Also don't be surprised if the car dies and won't idle.
