saw one today.....at pasadena, huntington and oak knoll, around 12 pm......its stock.....whoseeeeeeeee, gives me the creeps man

If it had the GT-A wing on it and RS style seats then it was the car from Mitsubishi HQ. I have seen it numerous times in Orange County.

This was taken at the Best Buy in Pasadena (off the 210 freeway and Sierra Madre). I took some pics of the car as I was walking out of Best buy and noticed it.

As I finished taking the pics... the owner came out and I told him " Nice Evo man, is it yours?"

He was kinda a dick about it and said... "nah... it's not mine... it's not an EVO"

So i left him alone since I don't think he wanted me asking him about it. I could have been a dick back and said, "nice FMIC on your NON-EVO"

That's obviously an Evo 7 RS2 (note the rear wiper), but he must've replaced the Mitsu badges to silver ones cos the LHD versions are marked for export with a red Mitsu badge.

 

Its not an RS2.Only evo models that had a Rear wiper was a GSR.which only came in RHD and the US EVO.so only one of 2 things this could mean,
1 this car was a GSR wich then was converted to LHD
2 the owner got the body kit and rims from a Evo 7 and put it on his US evo.
way u can tell if its a US evo is that when u look inside and see a fog light switch instead of a ACD switch.and i think the seats are a bit different

 

It's definately a VII. Which one I'm not sure. If it were an VIII, he would had to have change the wheels, bumpers, side skirts, headlamps (the amber is on the bottom instead of the top), tail lamps, wing and hood eventhough that doesn't look like a regular 7 hood. Also he prolly isn't a dick, he's just paranoid that you might be an NHSTA official snooping around. I don't think the VII's are legal yet.
