I'm personally not a fan of valvonline. I like mobil 1 because it's pretty cheap at walmart @ $21 for 5 qts and it's great oil.

yup... nothing wrong with mobil 1 at walmart... with the money you save just change the oil more often if you're hard on the car.

Pennzoil Platinum is now better than Mobil 1. Mobil 1 now uses a lower quality group III stock, while Pennzoil still uses the good ****.

Valvoline has consistently had amongest the most poor testing and heat degradation of motor oils. Don't ask me where I have seen this although this information is available from many private testing sources.

Mobil 1 FTW even if the normal is not even a synthetic anymore, it still has to stand up to strict quality standards. After that I give Castrol a look because all of their oil is recyled used oil which typically exceeds all standards of even new motor oil.

I would just stick with what has been known to be good. Mobil 1 FTW.

Some of you should do some research instead of buying into the Mobil 1 hype and following others like a lemming. Original Mobil 1 was good, but it's not made like that anymore. Think about Coke when it was introduced, then they tried to slip us "New" Coke. Only with Mobil 1, people can't tell or are just too ignorant about oils.

my point is that it doesn't matter... how many people have you ever met that ever had motor problem due to the brand of synthetic motor oil....

so while you're out there spending 2x what I am on mobil one I hope you feel warm and fuzzy because that's all you're getting for your extra money.
