Doing some "homework" on what car to buy next, i found this. the first guy says he ran an 8.7 in the quarter mile. that is the biggest bull$hit story i have ever seen in my entire life. i was really considering getting a 2.5 RS cuz i can't quite afford an evo yet, but i don't know if i wanna now because i'll have to be assosciated with people like that :P

My friend has a 2.5 RS - Even he says it's a pig, that was compared to my GSX.
Might be able to get an 8 sec 1/4 mile if it was strapped to a Top Fuel dragster

 

or dropped out of an airplane.

Hey! I got a 2.5RS like a month ago, due mainly to the fact that I could not afford an Evo, or a WRX because I could not qualify for a loan, thanks to all the college loans I have out. However, I see no association between people who bull**** and the car. So basically what you are saying is that because I drive a Subaru I'm full of myself? I'm sure I could find somewhere where some ignorant EVO owner made up some bull**** story...

no, i'm not saying all people who drive scoobies are full of themselves. i guess i put it the wrong way. anyways, i'm still thinking of getting a 2.5, its a good deal around here, with the constant(it seems) rain and snow. i was actually gonna try and get a 97 A4 quattro, but after reading reviews of that, i'm definetely not getting it. what i was trying to say Speedkillz, was i don't wanna associate with the people that go around saying "EVO's suck, STi rules!" or vice versa, even. i guess it just came out wrong. wasn't trying to talk **** or anything. my bad.
