I just wanted to keep everyone updated on the status of the dyno. We received the following e-mail on Monday. It is correspondence between the shipping company and Dyno Dynamics. It is pretty self explanatory. As you can see it is completely out of our hands and a new delivery date has not been set.
As soon as I hear anything new I will pass it along.

Dear Dyno Dynamics,
As we discussed, the shipment is currently in New York. The container was originally delayed in Los Angeles due to a requirement by the Drug Enforcement Agencies (DEA) to check and X-ray the container. Then there has been a U.S.Customs hold on the entire container in New York, where the goods were to be unpacked and then trucked to Boston. The two delays are NOT related.
U.S.Customs, as in most countries, do not have to explain their reasons for the hold , or to which cargo they are particularly interested in, incase this may interfere with any investigations. U.S.Customs and other U.S. department agencies have become stringent in imported cargo as part of the fall out of the terrorism and changes to import regulations in the USA.
Whilst EGL are participating with the carrier to do all we can to clear this container to allow unpack of all cargo, we do not seem to be able to accelerate any Customs decision.
I have asked them to update your customer daily with status. Should we be advised of any further issues, then we shall inform you accordingly but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

how much did it cost of the dyno. I was given a quote of over a $100,000 for the AWD unit from aussieinmorts
