Octane booster/Torco q's

So i was reading up on these octane boosters, preferably the NOS brand. On the bottle it claims it can raise you're octane level by 6points w/a full can. I'm planning on getting my octane between 93-95 octane for regular use so that would probably be not even half a can. So my question is which do you guys would be best to raise my octane level, Nos octane booster or Torco? I know Torco is proven and works well, its just i can't get my hands on it because it sells like wildfire up here. Any help would be great. Thanks

I have used the nos octane booster. Noticed a little difference over the regular octane boosters you see at autozone. Never tried Torco though..

your butt dyno says yes but the dyno jet says no. don't waste your money on octane boost dude. just buy race gas and mix it. Octane boost is snake oil with a little toluene in it. Torco has been known to get rid of minor knock though.

Yesterday i ordered a 5 gallon drum of Torco. i just love this stuff...

The only proven additive that works, along with the Klotz HitRate...

Adding 32oz of Toro in a 10 gallon tank of 93, you get 96.5 octane gasoline... Proven by a test made by one of the Torco vendors...

At 14.5 dollars per can its not bad...

Buy the 5 gallon drum. Its like getting 20 cans of Torco for less than 9 dollars per can...

keep in mind 10 points is 1 octane rating.

so that nos can is .6 of an octane. so it would be like 93.6 not 99 if your running 93 octane. think that leads to some confusion.

torco is the only booster that has been proven to add 1-3 full points, depending on the ratio

torco is the only booster that works. its really just concentrated race gas.

i believe alky or a few gallons of race gas is the only surefire way to up your octane without going broke buying torco for $20 per 32oz bottle.

I would just order a 15 gallon tank of 100 octane from VP Racing Fuels for $50 and have peace of mind.

Martin from AMS is testing with Torco. He tuned a car that was running Torco and it made alot of power.

I'm running nothing but 100 octane on my car. Sometimes I fill up at VP and sometimes I fill up on Torco. I haven't noticed any difference in performance or price to be honest.

I just have one thing to say...

I used to say octane boosters were crap but Torco really made me eat my words...I have a friend with a srt-4 holding HOM( high octane mode) with torco alone.. it does just as good for me...

Great stuff.
