Tanabe Concept G install

Well I just installed my new exhaust and I have to say it was easy didn't run into any problems at all. The quality of the exhaust is outstanding makes the stock piece look tiny and cheap. Anyway it sounds awesome looks great did it all in the garage on a set of ramps took about 4 hours going slow. Here some pics since everybody likes threads with pics.

Thanks to Speedelement great price fast shipping and they threw in a mech cel fix for free!

Hey you guys with this exhaust did you use the gasket on the downpipe to o2 housing. The stock piece only uses the donut gasket and that is how I installed it with the donut gasket but I had one of those other gaskets left. I don't have any leaks though.

All i needed was the gaskets for the pieces of pipes. No added gasket for the O2-DP connection. Stock donut works.

Okay that is what I did just kinda worried me. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten that thing with the donut. First time I went wot with the thing was music to my ears.

i have the same exhaust, it is nice. damn 4 hrs?> you must have REALLY worked slow, btw, the mecha fix is nothing but a dollar or two, no need to get too happy. you can get that part at any local automotive store. they just try and make people think they are throwing something special in the deal, when it really isn't jack. ^.~

Still I had to drill out a spark plug defouler/get the right size drill bit for my mechanical o2 fix.. So it seems nice to me. Looks great, how much did it cost though?...

Yeah, I love this exhaust. I put mine on 2 weeks ago and love it. It took me like 2 1/2 or 3 hours to do mine. I couldn't get the o2 sensore out of the cat. Reason it took so long is because I couldn't get that out and I couldn't find my breaker bar. I finally found it and got that out in 2 minutes.

I used the anti-foulers. They fit perfectly under the car with this exhaust. I had it set off the light once, but it was right after I had it tuned and drove 400 miles back home. It set off about 20 miles from my home. I disconnected the negative battery cable and it hasn't been back on since.
