The main problem people have is NOT drilling a precision hole. People try to drill them without a drill press and hog it out (granted, some people CAN keep it straight without a press). If the hole is straight, I've never seen one not work on an Evo. I have seen a few hack jobs not work at all.

Mine is on the catback section of the exhaust with the mechanical fix that speedelement threw in the box with my exhaust and I haven't had a light only been about 250 miles so far. Get a premade one not the autozone thing and you should be good.

I have a Buschur TBE and I bought their mechanical CEL fix and I just got a "Service Engine Soon light". I had to reset it, it is definetly do to having no cat because I pulled the code. But I'm waiting for a reflash wich will hopefully take care of the stupid light.
