Not really, I created a post about a scammer in our region at one time and since I put the scammers name/personal information in it the entire post was deleted, not edited to remove information and still warn people of the scammer. . . . deleted.

Yeah, oddly enough it wound up the guy was the moderators buddy.

Wow..... you went way beyond the call of duty helping this guy.

I know you had a great heart to pay the guys debt, but I think you may be in for a loss. I hope I am wrong though....

As far as not paying for dyno time, I think its the shops fault. They should not release the car keys to the owner until all work is paid for in full......
I know the shops I go to do that when they work on my car.

But anyhow, I hope he gets whats coming to him..

This is the most recent PM from the guy: "I'll post a payment on your paypal after I get paid in 2 weeks...........If you can wait that's great if not I guess do watcha got to do.............."

I just don't know what to say...If someone is running that tight on funds, why would they buy a brand new Evo and have it very nicely modded (rims, intake, exhaust, gauges, stereo, etc.)???? This is at least the first response that he has said he will repay me...Maybe I'll get 'lucky' and he will do the right thing.

I agree...you were way too nice. I believe the shop shouldn't have given him his keys until he paid...that is their fault!!!

Post this losers info already, if you really think your ever gonna see payment then I really feel bad for you. He already got over on you once dont let it happen again.... WHats his screen name.. maybe we can all drop him a PM on Tuning/dyno day eticate!!

This what I think you should do... Since you know his info, see if the dyno shop will file a claim against the guy for dining and dashing, then when/if he pays the shop, they refund you. They should have some kind of vehicle info whether its a VIN or plate number, right?

dude im sorry to hear that, there are just some dicks out there and some of them own evos as well. but yea i wouldnt have fronted anyone that much money. i mean 20 bucks most no more then that. good luck with everything i feel you should post his real name and username on here so we can **** with him
