This was the last PM I got from Ocho on March 18th: "I'll post a payment on your paypal after I get paid in 2 weeks...........If you can wait that's great if not I guess do watcha got to do.............."

This is several weeks of back and forth excuses from him....Since then I have heard nothing even though I have PM'd him repeatedly....So if you really think he is an upright guy, then I guess our definitions are different.

Also, if you want to look at the thread that was started about the tuning session and costs see this post / link

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=250047

It is crystal clear that the dyno time is additional $$ and was estimated to be $100....

well you definatly didnt have to pay for him and thats your fault.. and even if he had to be charged wouldnt it have to be dtm who should do it?

i talked with one of my friends that got tuned the same day... and he sayed he didnt know he had to pay for dyno also (so both of them didnt know), so he payed dtm couple of days later! so ocho would have to do the same thing... but i dont know why you payed for him without talking with him.... dtm should have called ocho and talked with him! if you payed for ocho than there is nothing you can do unless try to talk it out with him, if thats even true! all you have to do now is wait for him to talk with dtm and if its true you payed for him than he would be happy to pay you back... but i dont know what he has done yet! so i couldnt tell you whats going on! but thats how i see it and thats how i think it should be solved

You are completely wrong...the other individual that was tuned that day payed DTM directly right there and then (same day)....Ocho left without paying ....and has yet to pay me back...it is really basic stuff yet for some reason you seem to be implying that it is acceptable behaivor....Oh well, maybe it is something that is accepted in your circles, but not mine.

no its no acceptable behavior if the story your telling is true... i would expect anyone to pay back! the only reason im saying there is something wrong is because i couldnt see ocho doing that kind of stuff! but i heard another story so ill leave it to you guys to handle it, i think charging him its too much and hopefully you 2 will sorte things up the right way! and the way i think is right is that dtm you and ocho should talk together and solve the problem... well gl

well this only leaves one thing to do, confront him in person and tell him what you have to tell him. now i could understand 10 maybe 20 bucks but $127 bucks? get that cash back. and also as i said last time this is your fault for lending someone money who you didnt even know that well.

I dont think the law can help you much... You paid for his scam... What he did was legally wrong but, he doesn't legally have to pay you back....

true, but he still should get his money back if he can track him down. if not, we should just learn from it and let it go.

Why not call his parents? Surely someone that behaves in this way is still living with them.

this should just teach everyone something, more for the younger people, less the older guys because they obvisously have had their fair share of experiences. but regardless how nice of a person is and what not i wont pay for **** if i didnt know the person like that. that goes for trading and making any type of business transaction with someone you dont know.
