Welp.....I now understand why Mitsu is going into the $hitter....I mean....I know there are people that are going to post after me that are going to say....stop whining, it's a racecar...things break...blah blah.....I dont care what you say.

When I spend 36K on a car....I'd like to think that at 1800 miles I wouldn't have **** falling off my car while driving...this is not considered wear and tear....this is just ****ty....it was held on by hot glue for god's sake and fell off when I was trying to block the sun.....

My Type-R never had any problems like this....no problems with the paint, pieces falling off, notchy transmission, floor mats that wear out in like 5000 miles... I mean seriously....what kind of JDM opium addicts do they have putting this car together???

#1...Mitsu posted pretty good earnings this year so I dont know why people keep saying that.

#2 Stop effin whining...Just take the fu(kin car in and get a new one.

On second thought...with that many complaints, just return the car and drive the type aaarrrrrr

you pay for the performance not for the appearance
so if you want them all nice just get a luxury car that
wont hurt your feeling.

I think most of evo owners including myself forgive Mitsubishi of many sins due to our love for evo's performance.
Having said that, I do agree that Mitsubishi definitely needs to step up their quality control.
Just remember that it is their 9th version.
Granted, current car had only three years to evolve.
Yes, I appreciate their efforts to improve the performance every year.
Yes, I would continue to enjoy and love my evo.
However, seeing rust near the crash bar, very poor paint quality, etc. should not be just disregarded.
