Turbo Blue
For those of you that have heard of turbo blue, i believe its only in the PA area, its a 104 octane and its the only race gas around that i can get direct from the pump....but my case is i heard a rumor that it can clog injectors? but i have also heard it cleans out your injectors.
Does anyone have any experience with this in their evo?

We have it in Ohio, i'm not sure if turbo blue sells leaded and unleaded race fuels, but the issue is leaded fuel will foul your 02 sensors quickly. I've never heard of it adversely affecting injectors, but it could be due to my limited exp....

C16 is leaded and everyone is using it that dont have cats and arent worried about their first o2 unless they dont have that either....doing once and awhile wont hurt, i plan on only using it for drags. i heard from one person that turbo blue clogs injectors, no one else has any experience with it
I hear the same thing....basically O2's goin bad faster.
Not sure about Turbo Blue, but try Sunoco Race Fuels if you get a chance. 260 GT 100 is a street legal, 100 octane, unleaded blend. If you really want a high octane unleaded race blend, then try the Sunoco 260 GT Plus which is a true 104 octane race fuel.
The GT100 you can buy at the pump at certain Sunoco locations. The GT Plus I believe is special ordered.

I and all of my import racing buds have been running leaded turbo blue for years. It will eventually kill your O2 sensor but its not as fast as everyone leads you to believe. I've run over 100 gallons of the stuff through my evo and am still on the stock sensor. I only run it on the weekend and track days. Most of the time I run 93.
I get better results with a 50/50 mix of 110 leaded and 93 octane than I do with streetblaze 103 unleaded. Here is another link about race fuel and there is turbo blue discussion in it.

I just picked up another 5 gallons tonight. The price went up to $5.10 per gallon but its worth it. You asked me about the octane level.... the yellow sticker on the pump reads 110.
Bro if i could find 100 octane gas near my area on a pump, this is the only gas that i would use. Period. Even at 6 usd/gallon... As they say if you wanna play to gotta pay...
100 (R+M)/2 means 26-28psi all day long!!!

hey guys,
my only experience was this... we used this fuel when i grew up racing karts... it was a very dirty fuel that didnt seem to have good quality control.. but it smelled good... then again so did the additives we used that we got out of the back door from dupont.
i wouldnt use it, if you have access to elf, vp, or the like
