Very cool. I am surprised (not in a negative way-just surprised) that the car is capable of that much top end that quickly. Sheeee iiiiit. I watched the video, very cool. Makes me want to take my RS out there and try it.
Here is the video of the record setting pass. Be sure to watch it all the way to the end. Mike gets interviewed in his car by Speed for an up comming pilot series on land speed records. This saturday 4-7-07 from 12pm till 4pm Mike's Evo 2 will be on display at Devo Tuning. Go to the events thread for further info. Also Mike Reichen set another land speed record in North Carolina in Maxton for the ETCA. This was only 191mph. The run was at 36 psi in 1st thru 3rd, but when he shifted into 4th one of the wastegates hung open and he only had 24 psi in 4th and 5th! This Evo 2 is going to be breaking a few more records before the year is over.

Just for clarification-Maike was only running high 20's boost for those passes. He was proabaly in the area of 700whp/
In Texas he was running between 33 & 36 psi. in Maxton when he went 191mph with Shearer Fabrication's aero work he was only running 24psi. Also remember he's on the smaller 42R (70mm). I can't wait to see it run at high boost with the 74mm 42R and nitrous
