Hmmm...I think turbo kits for the Evo are going to get much cheaper...
I am amused by the seller's claims

'50mm Phat Runners - No Rinky Chinky Cracky Ho'

Its sad to see yet another product made by a USA racing company - in this case Full Race - copied and ripped off by XS auto chrome

The reality is that it may look similar but the quality is not there in the material

Just brace it and it will do fine. Very old news honda has been in discussion for a while and the only way it survived is with proper bracing.

I'm looking forward to giving this thing a review. If it cracks, big deal, I know an AWESOME tig welder than can fix the cracks if any occur. Much power can potentially be had with this setup, for a very small amount of money ($1200 for turbo, $200 for downpipe + manifold, $300 for injectors for a total of $1700 + $300 for couplers, lines, intake, miscellaneous crap etc). This setup should work with any T3 flanged garrett turbo with a 4 bolt outlet flange...hmmm ball bearing 50 trim here I come!

It is not only the welds that pose a problem, it is also the material thickness, unless they have done something diff now. The manifold I personally seen used very thin material.

Why? It sounds like something you'd say about eBay exhausts.

Notice how they don't show the inside of the collecter-area. There's very little to no chance they can duplicate what Full-Race has done in there.

Exactly my point. If it cracks, it can be re-welded.

Just save up and do it right the first time. Id rather have piece of mind with my car than a few extra bucks and have to check the car for manifold cracks.

If you do get a 50 trim make sure it has a 4-bolt hotside. My precision 50 trim is 5 bolt and I'm not sure if you can get a 4-bolt. Just an FYI

I seriously doubt there will be a lawsuit or action taken. Then Rays/Mugen/Prodrive/ would take action against Rota.
