innovate wideband prolem help

innovate wideband prolem help

ok i have the innovate lc-1 and xd-16. my reading just went from normal at idle to 25.1 ish. when i wot the car it is reading 18.whatever. so what i did was i recalibrated it and still nothing. same crap. i called innovate and they said maby the sensor is shot. so i replaced it. and again recalibrated it and still all messed up. anyone have any idea wtf is going on?

ur pulling it out of the down pipe when u recal right?

did it ever work right?

did u follow all the instructions... u cant ground couple of the wires together or it does throw the readings off for some reason..

it has ben installed for over a year. it worked fine up untill now.

yes i pulled it out of the downpipe.

i even left it out when i put the new sensor on.

mine is reading 14.7 at idle....is it perfect ? tuned by dynoflash~

i would take everything out and just start from scratch....

too much stuff integrated to guess where the problem is..

i hate my life. i haver had nothing but problems for the past 3 weeks. now i can add my wideband crapping out on me to the list

It doesn't take much to throw off that sensor. If your downpipe is loose or your O2 housing is leaking those numbers will go south very quickly.

You may want to double check your grounds as well.

and there is 0 exhaust leaks. i check'd and re trq'd everything from the manifold to the test pipe. also recal'd the damn sensor again. and yet again nothing. next

Try it in a different vehicle to see if the readings change .... if it does the same thing in another car then the unit is dicked up.
