My car was rear ended also and has been in the body shop since March 21st and the guy at the shop told me i should be getting it back april 13th.(4,000 in damages) That sucks but o well. They were going to give me a PTcrusier at the rental place but something happened to the car and they ended up giving me a nissan titan for the same price as the car.

If the accident is deemed her fault, you'll get medical payment no matter if you're hurt or not. In my old car, I rear-ended a guy at a stop light doing less than 5mph after he threw on his brakes seconds after we started moving. Total damage to both cars was less than $500 apiece, but he got $12,000 in medical damages.

Thing is, it's more expensive for the insurance company to fight a medical claim than it is for them to just pay it. I didn't even know the guy had submitted an insurance claim until I was looking for a different carrier and my insurance record has it on there. American Family didn't even tell me he filed the claim... bastards.

that almost happened to me 2 days ago where the lady was drving a brand new Chevy SUV. It wouldve been her fault if she hit me.
