lowered evo prices

went by my dealer today, new evo goes for $28,000, should have waited I paid 33000 for mine. To be honest I thought it would take few months for prices to go down, but I guess they are not receiving as much interest as anticipated.

I think it has more to do with the sales of the STi now kicking in, and the dealer wanting people to buy the Evo over the STi!!

Got mine two weeks ago for 500 under MSRP and no dest fee(usually $595). To me, I got it at $1100 under.

They are definetly dealing on EVO's these days.

I once bought tooearly on a new car offering and said I would never do that again. Never be premature!

Yah, I agree with Mister2zx3, it may do the opposite.....have any of you guys seen 2f2f? Yah, his evo kicks some ***, but what the *** were they thinking painting it that ugly lime green with ugly (brown?) stripes on the side? It looked like shiet. If they made it look clean...like black or something and put stickers on it that had a little more taste than maybe ppl would want to drive the thing.

I dont think it will help sales as much as they think it will, it will however help more ricer traffic go though the mitsubishi dealerships that will gawk over the car and probably try to get a test drive, but I doubt most of the people who pass by the dealerships can even afford the car.

Only a small percentage of 16-18 yr old kids can afford $30,000 cars.

But there may be a lot of rich kids who may have their parents buy it for them

Off-topic, I saw a 45 year old pasty-faced ugly female driving a black Evo in my area, and she couldn't even drive the thing!! She grinded to 1st gear!!!! I bet it was her husband's
