Ouch. Filing a claim with DOT takes forever. You are better off just going through your insurance, and let them handling the rest. Usually they would go after the DOT, but reimburse you first. I remember hitting a pot hole with my G, bent the wheel .

does anyone know how to do it..cause im working on the information and getting the bill in couple of days...1800 for the damage....im not paying that...thats bs. can someone tell me how to do it and where i go for this please?
and got a pic of it but it was filled up with sand...and went back yesterday and it was filled..
