my 03 and 05 never had any probs.. i actually thought they were pretty tough for being a lightweight carpet... maybe your acuum is too strong... these are thin carpets.. weight savings for the overpriced car we drive..

This may sound stupid but, what exactly are you using to vacuum your car? I use a soft bristle attachment and my carpet still looks new.

My floor mats are a whole other topic....

i had the same problem on my 05, right in front of the drivers seat where the seat bolts down and where the hook for the floor mat is, the carpet was loose and could be pulled up. i told mitsu and the said it was a warranty issue so they ordered one and replaced it.

Bro, use a weaker vaccum. These are not home carpets you know. For the floormats...use whatever.

My Evo has a little over 50,000 miles and the carpet looks ok just normal wear and tear but maybe you should switch up vaccums.
