Need help troubleshooting problem

I have been searching, but the problem is I don't know what the hell I am searching for.

The problem I am having is when I give the car throttle the rpms jump from about 2800 to about 4k, almost like it I had a clutch slipping very badly then it grabs at 4k. I don't know what happens after that as I did not feel comfortable going above that. Are there any intercooler pipes I can check or any spots for leaks? I think I am losing pressure thus making the car taking longer to boost, but thats just my guess.

Please help, any suggestions or advice are greatly appreciated.

My car is an 05 VIII with 9900 miles, bone stock.

Sounds like possibly a clutch but your car should still be under warranty and its bone stock so Mits cant really fight you on that

^^^^^ A clutch is considered wear and tear. you do not get warranty work for that.. An also your clutch is done, you need to stop driving it, other damage could occur.

wow, you guys thinks its my clutch. i am very surprised as i consider myself a very conservative driver who drives a clutch well. the one thing that is weird is that it was fine yesterday. all of a sudden today there is a huge difference. doesnt a clutch issue slowly arise?

its amazing its out at 9900 miles. i must suck at driving or something.
