You might have more damage than what you think. I was also rear ended but at 15 mph. Few scuffs and trunk jammed. Thought it would be a quick fix it for the body shop. But it turns out that instead of a 2,000 estimate it is now at the total of 4,500. A lot of stuff got messed up.

If it was an FD, either the car wasn't right or the driver is stupid. The FD stops even better than the evo. It has 4 piston front brakes as well (granted they don't say "brembo" but that doesn't mean anything).

I have a 93 Rx-7 and an 05 Evo. Different cars for different moods. Both are fun. The FD is single turbo w/ 500 hp and the Evo is a stock dd.

I think alot had to do with reaction time, I had a 240 directly in front of me so I was able to have more time to react then having an evo in front that brakes pretty damn quick specially if your not expecting it at all. This was no reason for the person you caused the accident to brakes at all and do it as hard as he did so no one was ready and I am really surprised that I am the only one that got hit and it wasnt a pile up of multible cars. The thing I am thankful for is that one of my friends was originally behind me on his motorcycle but thankfully turned off the road before the accident occured.
