does anyone plan on being up there on sunday? or will everybody be leaving that day

 

I don't plan to really do any spirited driving on Sunday. Mainly because my car will be loaded down with stuff!

 

for those traveling hundreds of miles to drive the dragon and wanting to get your $ worth, I would highly suggest getting an EARLY start on saturday; I'd suggest 8am, esp if you're staying nearby. The later you start on a saturday or sunday the more congested the road is, although it does clear out again in early evening. I try and start early and usually go home at noon because it's not much fun following a minivan or harley at 30 mph for the rest of the day. You could start early, make a few laps until the traffic builds, then go hit the cherohala, check out fontana dam, fugitive dam, and then come back later in the day.

 

I can't wait!! I'll be there asap- I want to leave GSO about 8 so I should be there at noon or so then drive everywhere

 

i'll be outa town man id hate to miss it . but family first

 

It was nice meeting everyone that was there today, we had a blast.. Definitely need to do this again soon..

Yep, that was great fun. Nice bunch of folks. Great weather.

I live a couple hours away, and if I don't have a conflict, I'm usually up for a Dragon run. So if you want company, give me a holler. I might not see every Dragon thread on EvoM, but I will see PMs and followups to this thread.
