Lancer Evolution VII Automatic (GT-A)

Good news for everyone that is unable to get a stick, personally, I'm not getting a car if it is not stick!

-January 31, 2002

>Mitsubishi Motors announces the Lancer Evolution 7 GT-A, the first Automatic Transmission model in the Lancer Evoluion series.. ( The base model is Lancer Evolution 7 GSR.) The GT-A is powered by Lancer Evolution's 4G63 2-liter in-line 4cyliner 16valve DOHC intercooler-turbocharged engine that has been optimally matched with the automatic transmission. The GT-A places primary emphasis on low-end and mid-range response rather than peak out put. The GT-A adopts the INVECS-2 sport-mode 5 speed automatic transmission that has been honed and refined to perfection in the Mitubishi Galant VR-4. And on the GT-A thumb-operated selectors located on the lateral spokes of the steering wheel. The GSR's heat extraction outlets and NACA ducts in the engine hood and the central air intake slot in the front bumper have been eliminated to reduce air resistance.

>Major features are:
2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC turbocharged engine with intercooler
Max horsepower : 272PS/6500rpm ( 200kW/6500rpm)
Max torque : 35.0kg-m/2750rpm (343N-m/2750rpm)
All-wheel control system comprising ACD (Active Center Differential), AYC ( Active Yaw Control) and Sports ABS that bring improvements.

Multi-lamp headlamps house discharge-type headlamps and fog lamps as standard.
A smaller rear spiler with built-in LED high mount stop lamp. Also it is abailable with GSR's 4-way varialbe attach angle spoiler.
Blue stitching in the genuine leather steering wheel grip, manual shift-stlyed selector knob and boot, and parking brake handle tirm coordinates with the blue-pearl decorative panels.
The 3-dial sport instrument pod uses black-on-white grapics exclusive to GT-A.
Exclusive aluminum bonnet, Fog lamps, GT-A emblems, 17inches alloy wheels, Electric powerd door mirrors, Sports seats, Air conditioner, SRS airbags, Power window, UV cut glass.
