I am currently building a hybrid EVO IV with GT-A automatic gearbox. I did get everything working, however I am considering changing ECU for some extra options like proper launch control etc.

The question: WHICH ecu will work with GT-A automatic gearbox?
I do know that Pectel EQ9 unfortunatelly will not manage.

The 7 has the W5A51? If it was the 4 speed you can use an AEM to run it.

 

Nothing other than the GTA's ecu. Some guy in Russia was doing some development for the GT-A's ecu adding some features such as LC, search the ecuflash forum.

 

Petteri and Merlin have developed a dual map rom for the Evo7GTA ECU.
It includes tuned maps for EFI and TRANSMISSION.

Do you know if the transmission tune addressed the 1st - 2nd gear lag?

I have searched all over google and I cannot find any information on these rom maps. I would even settle for a 98 octane map.

 

Petteri and Merlin took a long time to develop that dual tune Rom. PM Merlin (Dave) and buy it
Same as I and many have done
Don't mod your trans maps unless it has welded planetaries at least

 

Post to keep this thread alive. Yes, my airtrek is running on GTA ECU with GTA rom. TD05-18G. Just registered evonet and need 15 days to start PM anyone...

 

I have try to email Merlin, on how to purchase from himself but no reply yet. Any other version / custom rom available ?

Is there any one have the correct XML definition for my ROM ( attached )?
My ecu flash with 80700010.xml able to open 02_LANCER_EVO7_AT_80700010 but not mine.
