Best Wideband if I am not gonna log

I am wondering what wideband I should get. Right now my choices are Innovate and Zeitronix. I like the Innovate because it would be easy to mount and look go where I put it. The Zeitronix has the boost feature though and I really like that, but I already have a boost gauge.

I am trying to find out what is the best wideband to get if I don't plan on logging and tuning. Seems like the Innovate and Zeitronix is overkill for what I plan on doing.

What do you guys think?

My vote goes to the innovate. You could log boost with the innovate lma-3. You can add that anytime to the LC-1

I am not concerned about logging. The LC-1 with gauge is up there in price. I was wondering if there was a less expensive gauge like the AEM or NGK that was accurate. I am not going to be doing any logging.

Just want some feedback from you guys. I heard the AEM wasn't the most accurate. Is this true? If it is as accurate as the rest this is what I would really like to get.

How do people determine the accuracy when that's the only unit on the car?! For example if the wideband says 11.5afr, on what basis do they deem that it's not accurate without another wideband to refer to?

as far as I know from the people I know that have it, it is very good...

it has a lot to do with the sensor itself

AEM wideband can be had for 275 or so brand new and if you aren't going to log I don't see the need to go any other way

just my .02 though

I love my AEM unit. Very simple... has the option to log through hyperterminal if needed. I think EvoScan now has a way to log as well. Is it accurate? I would assume so... Al from Dynoflash tuned my car (conservatively?)... It runs stupid rich at WOT - 10.0-10.3 at 22 PSI on 91 octane.

My guess is comparing it to say wideband logs from a tune on the dyno w/the shops sensor in your tailpipe. But I have heard the same about the AEM but cannot comment from personal experience

Good point. I got the zeitronix without the display for my eclipse but now I want the display to use along with the boost sensor for the Evo. Coulda saved $20 if I got it all at once.

Also to the OP if you wait a bit longer you can get a standard 2 1/16" gauge for the zeitronix and this way ou have the gauge right in front of you but will have logging capabilities in the future if you want.

How long would I have to wait? What will the price be compared to the ZT-2 with LCD display? I kinda need to get one in the next week if at all possible.

Zeitronix, if you're going to do it, do it right the first time.
