Must have Ralliart mirrors!!!!!
Must have Ralliart mirrors!!!!!
After a 1300 miles trek, I have a brand new (now slightly used) filthy Evo IX sitting in my garage. I have come to the conclusion that I must have add a pair of Ralliart mirrors to my mod pile.
I have seen the real deal and the imitations and would rather have the real deal if for no other reason then I will know that they are real and want them to be electric if possible.
So, anyone know where I can find a pair sitting around either new or used. I think I am happy with both the fake CF finish or going painted.
Must have mirrors...must have mirrors...must have mirrors...

I understand that they were discontinued.
I also understand that the real deal were designed for RHD cars which would give you crappy sight
One more bubble bursting fact is that the electric mirrors for RHD cars don't work well with a LHD mirror operator

Yup, I knew that they were discontinued and also knew about the glass.
The comment on the motors not working well is a surprise and has me scratching my head as I am not sure what could be different from the left to the right. The glass issue isn't that tough to deal with as the correct glass can be cut and fabricated to the motor mount and then fitted into the mirrors, BTDT.
Now, who has some mirrors for me?!
I suppose if worse comes to worse, I would go with the copies but I really don't want to give up the electric motors.

pm me if you're really interested. I have a set i'm willing to let go for the right price. they are authentic and motorized. they do not plug in to stock harness. You have to transfer your stock plugs to it. mine will come ready to install. let me know.

They are a discontinued part however with the right connections in Japan they can be found. The wiring color code is funky on these mirrors, left to right aren't even the same but with a light meter and free hand on the control button it's easy to determine pin configuration.
The biggest issue is obviously the visability situation which I've been working on but it's going to take some modification to the metal plate that holds the motor in place.
Does anyone know a place that could handle this type of mod without damaging the CF in the process??
