loud vibrating noise from rear? (im stumped)

ok guys heres my issue.......im having a loud vibrating sounding noise coming from the rear of my car. it only does it at high speeds above 80 mph...and when it makes the noise its not a constant noise it does it for like 2 seconds then goes away..... im positive its comming from the rear, it sounds like its comming from right underneith my trunk or around my trunk area....ive never heard a noise like this before its almost hard to explain how it sounds other than something vibrating very loud, i cant feel anything when it does this i can only hear it. any ideas? thanks

Have you check your spare and tools in the trunk? That might be 1st step if you haven't check it.

i would empty out my whole trunk; spare tire, tools, carpets(even the 1ns on the sides), then try the same thing again. have ur buddy drive n look again.

oh and also since u said it sound like a panel vibrating, check to see all the screws are fastened. n by all the screws i mean as many as u can find around there.(1/4 panel, inside and under the trunk).
also see if ur exhaust has anything to do with it. might have some loose screws.

a sound clip would be nice. somebody might be able to pinpoint the problem.

good luck
