best way to ship wheels from the US to Canada??

I am really interested in buying some wheels of a fellow evoM member in the states, but I am in Canada.

I was just wondering if anyone has had the experience of having wheels shipped up to Canada and what the best way to avoid duty etc. is? I know I'll have to pay quite a larger amount, but I really want these wheels!!!

Please let me know!!!

i dunno if this works for shipping across borders. but you can try using greyhound to ship your stuff. i think it will be like $100 to ship if you bring the wheels to a greyhound station and then pick up the wheels at your local greyhound station.

thanks for the advice so far. The problem is I don't want to be charged insane amounts of tax and duty fees when the wheels cross the border, so I was wondering if anyone had any special ways which they ship to minimize charges.

Its always cheaper to ship two wheels in one box rather than one seperately.

We use BAX global for a lot of our international large shipments. Try them?

thanks guys.

Actually now I'm thinking of having the stuff sent to buffalo and then I'll just drive out and bring it home since I'm only 2 hours away anyway. I'll have to pay duty but it's not that bad.

thats why I hate shipping to canada at work, they are always trying to cheat the system so they don't have to pay duties.
