diy exhaust porting?
Where's a good place to get gaskets? I'm sure i'll need some. I hope everything goes as good as plan. If i mess up on the exhaust manifold(which i dont think i will), it'll give me a reason to get something better than stock.
I have air tools to help me. dremel will probably work but take long as said earlier. I used a dremel to cut for a long period of time one time and it burned out on me.

Go to the dealer for gaskets. You can reuse most of your gaskets. The stock EVO gaskets are very good and on many installs I have reused gaskets with no problems.
I would recommend not porting any part of the head yourself. If anything a good polish is all the DIY person should do.
As far as porting the steel and what not you need to make sure you have much patience. It will take much longer than you think it should. You also want to use bits that are not stone based as they will be short work to the toughness of the manifold. A dremel will not get you anywhere with the cast iron/steel. Forget about that.
Port opening is only part of a good port job. The rest you can leave to us
