IC PIPE Blowing Off, now CEL???

I know its a problem that everyone has had, well now its the second time for me. Only this time it happened on a major highway so i had to drive about 2 miles stopping every few hundred feet to keep putting the pipe back on becasue i didnt have a damn screw driver, then when it popped off one time the clamp disapeared on the road. So i had to drive a little ways to get to a part store to get a clamp and a screw driver.

Well after i finally got another clamp i got it back together and got back on the highway. Well after about 20 more miles it went off again. So i stopped fixed it, then when i started the car again the CEL was on. What does this mean?? Im guessing the plugs are fuct. Someone help me out what should i do??

they will foul quickly. I have an OBDII scanner and can clear your codes if you need it.

bro, a screwdriver doesn't cut it for tightening up an IC pipe that keep blowing off.

Go home, get your ratchet/socket set out and tighten all of the worm clamps up real good and you will be done with it...

You don't need to run out and get T-bolt clamps unless you are running some serious boost on meth or race gas...

um, okay... I was honestly only trying to help...

I have had the UICP pipe blow off at the TB many times on the highway; to the point where now I actually keep a small ratchet with the correct-size socket in my car, just in case.
