Cel

hey guys,

i need to pass inspection and i took off my DP and test pipe yesterday and threw on stock cat n DP with my RNR catback. There are 2 minor leaks because the gaskets broke when my friend used them for his inspection. I tried the 02 fix with the non foulers and i still threw the 02 sensor code. Now after reseting my ecu and teh stock cat i still have the CEL. Would 2 minor leaks cause this or is my 02 sensor dead at 40k miles?

thanks

Reset ECU, if that doesn't work, replace your O2 sensors.

If you hit the o2 sensor too hard on accident like dropping it or it gets too much vibration it will go bad. Maybe this is what happend

Thats because on some vehicles a specific monitor may require (2) or more key cycles to go through a specific monitor. Most mitsubishi's arent this way, but I've had a couple that were.

PO141 - Your O2 is probably bad, or you broke it. Replace the O2.

EDIT: Do yourself a favor and double check the connector. I just remembered thats the one that tucks up inside the body, and they really dont leave much room to work with, let alone slack in the wires. If all wires and connector is good, pick up an O2.
