A friend of mine wants a shift light in his car. He isn't really into the whole huge shift light thing, so I told him I'd help him out. What I was thinking about getting is
1. RPM activated switch
2. L.E.D.

What he wanted was when the RPM switch activates, causing current to go to the L.E.D. and turn on, he wants it to blink rapidly so it can get his attention. Is there a module sold, or is anyone knows how to make one, so I can get the LED to blink at what ever rate I want when the 12v current is going to the LED?

Thanks for the help but, you didnt answer much. I was wondering if anyone knew of a product that when installed to an LED, would make it blink very rapidly. the way im setting it up is to have just 1 LED to light/blink. The current set up made righ now is when the rpm switch is activated, the LED light turns on. What i want to happen is instead of the light turning on, i want it to blink rapidly. Bump

i have a raptor performance shift light and its very nice and small....its a little bigger than a chapstick tube...i mounted it behind one of my AC vents so you cant see it until it lights up.......
