No more South COast Deals on Evo's!
Well as some of you may know and others may have not...I was planning on buying a brand new evo 9 GSR under the Mitsu VIP program...Well werd has it that since companys like South Coast were over using it and/or using it improperly the Evo is now offcially unavalible under the VIP program Nation-wide! Meaning people will now be paying full price or very close to it; for evo's.
Anyone else heard this or can South Coast say anything about it! I sure hope this isn't true because now dealers like south coast can't offer us members greeaat deals anymore!!!
With that said i'll be buying an 05 evo now! lol

Time seems to be running out, and prices will likely rise in the coming months as inventories get lower and lower.
That's why I picked up my new IX last Saturday - couldn't wait any longer. At least locally (within state), there were very few IXs with the specific color/model I wanted.

God damn it pinky, you still didnt get an evo??? what the hell are you waiting for? You been saying your gonna buy one for like 2 years!!!
South Coast is currently advertising $29,999 for an IX SE. I used the VIP program to buy an IX SE at a local dealer for $28,900 in late Aug 2006. (This was the very first shipment of SEs). So the VIP program would be over a $1000 savings VS South Coast's current prices. Plus if you are not near South Coast, you save by using the VIP program because you do not have to have the the car shipped to you too.
My understanding is that participation in the Mitsu VIP program is not mandatory for dealers. But almost all dealers accept it. If South Coast is saying that they will no longer do VIP, then just try another local Mitsu dealer.

So how many different dealerships did you go to? Please don't tell me one.
