Hey I am just having fun I am clowning around the new Cobras are pretty sweet I was thinking of one before the Evo stole my heart no hard feelings they are all great cars STi's,Vettes, 3000GT's, EVO,s we are lucky to own these cars and have fun in these forums.

My original post was meant for those who know about the vr4, and how he stated "THE EVO IS TOTALLY MAXED OUT AND YOU CANT UPGRADE A SINGLE THING ON IT" thats what made me post that. you can even upgrade a ****in porsche gt3.......dont tell me, he also said that porsches and benz's cant be modified.....

If the evo is maxed out then have him take a look at my thread with my dyno results with mild mods and more mods to come.

 

I had my heart in the same direction too, i wanted a cobra for the longest time, and almost bought one, but i didnt end up doing it. I would have to say that the evo stole my soul instead of my heart, and i drool over the fact of jumping into a blue one. I should have a reeeeeeeeaaally good downpayment by end of summer so im hoping to get mine then(plus i got a steal of a deal cause i work for a dealership). But ya... id take the cobra or z06 vette anyday... anyone giving them away for free possibly? hehe

Actually i asked him that, he said and i quote "no one in my area can do it". Basically he is lying his *** off. He also told me that his car is doing 12.5 on the 1/4 mile and the evo cant do better than 13..lol

I would rather have a Evo and i belive that the Evo is a great car... But the 3000GT is Mitsu's Flagship car as the, Supra, NSX, RX-7.... It may not be as fast as the Evo or handle as close to the Evo... but it is still a great car.. the Evo is a full preforamance car.. i mean lets face it.. it has only a decent interior... but the seats are good... and it shows how the car was ment only for the track! While the 3000GT VR-4... was packed with luxery and had the turbo's for the power! The 3000GT VR-4 also included many technological advances, that were pretty knew for its time, such including active aero..as well as (don't flame me for this..lol)...where you could controll the ride height from inside the car!! Personally.. i like the Evo.. that's because i've always liked the Evo... but the 3000GT VR-4 ain't no junk..and som1 said take it to the track... i think it would do wonderfull on a track!!

 

While the EVO is kicking butt in the SCCA Solo II A-stock class against M3's, Boxster S's, NSX's, Supra Turbo's to name a few.

Last time I checked...the 3000gt VR4 is ranked in F-stock.
Guess who their racing....Mid 80's camaro's, mustangs, buick grand nationals, Mercury Capri V8's, GMC Syclone's (thats a TRUCK!!!)

I raced a 3KGT VR4 a couple weeks ago. I smoked him so bad I would have been embarrased to be him at that moment. Off the line the evo dominates and it's hard to catch up. Stock for stock the evo takes the prize...
