Damn Kids....

well, my 2-way alarm beeped while I was in my complex, I go out, see my back window looking frosted and some kids running away... I chased the kids, caught them, talked to their mom/aunt. I didnt see it happen, they claim not to have either, got the cops involved.. they dont really care enough to do anything, so I'm basically SOL... it seems that there is a group of kids that likes to throw rocks from the complex playground against a dumpster, which is right in line of where i park my car. The 2 I cought were too young to have done it, (we're talking like 7-8), but they also wont say who did... I'm gonna camp out at the playground and god help whatever kid i cath flinging a single rock. next on my list, move out of the ghetto..

heres some pics to make you cringe.

btw, notice how small the rock that did it is in the bottom pic.. the glass on these cars is really thin folks... protect it.

That's gonna be a hefty bill coming from your wallet. Useless kids have nothing better to do.

dude thats bad. kids are always **** heads like that, but i remember i used to hiot cars with paintballs and not think twice about it, but now being a car owner myself i think of kids as little ****s and they should die. especially the ones who go around taping and thinking theyre cool. whatever, i think its time for a camera system in your car, be high tech about it. I bet it was an STI owner anyways.

damn, dude, that sux. i'm sorry about that. hope you get those little ****s. even if they were aiming at the "dumpster", they shouldn't be doing that type of **** around other peoples property anyways. but i am glad they're taking out their aggressions on things like dumpsters instead of defenseless pets of the neighborhood. if you do plan to move in virginia, don't go to falls church or annandale. lots of ricers with attitudes, and i know of some people that like to get their parts outta driveways. the kingestown area is nice. lots a yuppie types with big suv's, so you wouldn't have to worry much.

For what it's worth, I always have full glass coverage on my cars, and will definitely get it when I get the Evo.

Sorry to hear that, Thwack. Hope it's fully covered by insurance company.

Similar things happened to me before, as some kids broke the glass and stole the stereo, then I put in a couple of fake surveillance cameras as well as a real one and that never happen again. Perhaps you might need one of those as well...

When I was a kid I did some dumb things to people's cars, but never anything like this. I hope you don't run into this problem again. That really blows

Man.. I wonder how quickly it'll be repaired... Cause they can't replace it with a lancer rear glass, because they don't have a rear wiper... You might have to wait till they ship one from Japan..! That really blows man... Sorry about that...
