factory gauge package

Should I spend the 699 on the factory gauge package or do it myself. I don't know I think it looks very neat and tidy, I enjoy the fact that its factory. What are your thoughts guys?

Definitely don't spend $699 on it, you can get much better looking aftermarket ones for cheaper.

The price he's quoting should include install, which can be a pain in the a$$. If the dealer wants 600+ without install, then you'd be getting screwed.

If you get the pack though, make sure you order the CD changer install kit (might be included) and have the dealer move the radio to the bottom and install the guages where the radio is now. t makes them far easier to read.

Anyone know the part number and price for the above radio relocation kit? Any pics of what it looks like?

For regular or reversed install, I believe you will need the DIN cubby replacement which can be found on mitsubishiparts.net (not .com) in the same section as the sports meter kit. It runs about $50 on top of the $336 wholesale price for the sports meter kit.
