I just got back from a trip to boundary waters where I traversed some rough dirt roads. While EVO handled admirably , I woke up last morning to find I was missing my front license plate . Car was parked next to a cabin half way up a private road, so theft is not likely (but probable, it's not safe anywhere anymore ).

Is it possible that license plate came loose? Roads were not THAT rough - just a little washboardy. We tracked back everywhere we went but did not see it laying around anywhere. Darn!

 

All the more reason not to have a front plate!

 

It's cool, looks good without it. I'm debating, if i want to take mine off. I got a fix it ticket when i had it off of my Eclipse back then. I noticed, once you take off the front holder it will not go back on, because it's attached by adhesive to the grill. More of a chance to fall off then.....

 

Did you lose just the plate or did you lose the black holder too? Do you have a cool vanity plate that somebody would wanna steal?

 

Mine came off when I was drying my car after a wash. It's only held on by two cheapo plastic clips.
