Shipping Evo to Europe... warranty?
Well.. just got off the phone with MMNA, and here's what they said (paraphrased):
"If the vehicle leaves US territory, then warranty will not exist for the duration the car is out of US territory; however, once you have returned to the USA - any remaining warranty left on the vehicle will continue."
So, for the most part you guys are right (didn't really doubt that), but what I find interesting is the consensus that Mitsu will void your warranty for just taking the car out of the country to begin with. According to them, they won't. This makes sense to me, because that's like saying if Mitsubishi found out you drove your car to Canada for vacation, you're warranty is null and void. That sounds a bit ridiculous.
Anyway, thanks again for all of your replies/comments/suggestions.
