Does anyone know where i can the clips that hold that up, my local mitsu dealer quoted me at 120 dollars for them. Is this consisent with everyone elses findings or should i jsut buy an aftermarket one like the beat rush and if so do you know if it comes with everything to mount it...
are you just talking about the clips that holds the tray in place?
$120 for them? are they crazy?
Just go to www.machv.com or serach for machv and order from them.
They are like $10 for 10-15 pieces.
I can't believe these dealers charging that much for some plastic revits.

there's a vendor on here selling them for $190 shipped. i have the carbing and like it. much less of a PITA than the factory one. only drawback is it needs removed to change the oil, but then again, it's only 5 bolts to remove it, very easy.
Does it work with aftermarket FMIC's? That middle bolt looks like it goes into the factory FMIC bolt hole....which the AMS FMIC doesn't have.
Has anyone seen any pro's or con's between this one and the beatbrush model?

the 3 front bolts go into a plate with threaded holes in it that is about 1-2" lower than where the factory undertray hooks to the stock IC(that will give a little idea of what aftermarket IC's fit, i'd just go with one that requires no undertray trimming to be sure it will fit). the plate is pretty much just a 90* bend that bolts to the frame with the 2 bolts that hold the stock IC side tabs to the frame.
Ok...ok...so than the fact that I have an AMS FMIC shouldn't matter...since it's not using that middle tab that was welded onto the original FMIC. I just might go for the carbing instead. Aluminum plate is aluminum plate I guess...
