Um Celm...... you do realize that EI is ****???? So far, they have attempted for about 18 months to get the Evo VII legalized, and are not even close yet!!!! You would trust these ****ups to attempt to swap RHD to LHD!!!??? ahahahahah...

All they have done so far is **** off about 10 suckers who paid them up front for a car which they will never (yes I claim never) get legal...... especially if they have no desire to crash test it (which it will fail....ya notice the pointy front end of the Evo VIII).

II would like to formally introduce myself; My Name is Adam Burdette, I am a 50% Partner with Evolution Imports LLC. If you have ever called in to talk to us, more than likley I am the person that you have talked to. I want to first start off by thanking all of our clients out there for their patience and understanding during this long and trying process. For all of our clients out there this is not going to come as any surpirse you all know exactly where we stand with the DOT and EPA at this time. I would like to take this time to explain it to all of our potential clients. We have finished our petition with the Governement with both vehicles and both petitions have been turned in, they have been turned in sene early March. We at Evolution Imports were hoping to be done with this projects months ago but due to the high work loads and the under-staffing at the DOT that has not been the case. The DOT is filled with many hard working individuals unfortunatley we only have one that works on all the petitions for non conforming vehicles. And there are a lot of petitions trying to go through. I am taking this time to let all of our up and comming customers know that we are not quitting, that we are not out to scam you or screw you there are much easier ways to do that then a headache of a business like this. We are almost there and we are committed to seeing both of these projects finished it is only a time factor now. It looks like senior info our biggest heart felt friend may end up being right on the lenght of time but we are still hoping he will be wrong. We have had a lot of people on the formus bad mouthing us over the course of the year and I would like to see a stop to it. Anybody that has a problem with us contact us, see what we are all about, talk to some of our other clients. See that we help out, make concessions, even sell their car and return their money, if they can no longer wait for their vehicle to be finished. We are a very small company, I was 22 years old when my partner and I started it. We had no money, no trust fund, no Angel Investor, but we are making it work. We getting done what no other has been able to do even with an unlimited budget, and it will get done. So for all of you out there who are trying to decide if you want to try our company please look over the forums take it all in, give us a call, see what we have to say and then make your own mind up. On another note: if you would like to see any of our Left Hand Drive conversions please let us know. We have pictures and vehicles for viewing in Port Everglades. The Conversions are not done by us they are sub-contracted out by a company who has been doing this work now for over 10 years.

LOL..... I'd rather listen to people who have actually had a bad experience with you than listen to an over of a company saying "we're not trying to screw you"... Your really looking out for your best intrest *cough cough* Money *cough cough* and not the customer, just like a auto dealership (oh wait, you are a an auto dealership)

Ive had no problems in dealing with Evolution Imports. What you think Motorex didnt go through the same deal?you bring a Skyline to them and it takes them six months to legalize it.And then you have Omega Skylines....http://www.omegaskylines.com/
Whos been around longer Then E.I and still hasnt made a street legal Skyline for half the price of motorex

whoever the 5-10 egg's are who actually paid you guys up front should take this option (see quote below).

Why did you change your Ebay account? You can transfer your old account to any email address...so don't say "i changed email addresses".....

IMO everything about EI is very very shady (at best).... and I have spoken to you Adam 2 times in the past.... but.. luckily for me, I got a USA version for $30k instead.

What you think Motorex didnt go through the same deal?you bring a Skyline to them and it takes them six months to legalize it

The BIG difference here is that Motorex actually has government approval to legalize the cars. They don't spend 6 months dicking around trying to find out if they're even ALLOWED to legalize your GTR. They spend 6 months actually doing it. A big part of that is DOT and EPA holds, and the fact that they have more business than they can handle.

EI has been at this for over a year now and the government still hasn't even acknowledged receipt of their petition. Celm, the soonest you could possibly see your car is mid-2004. It's cute that you're so hopelessly optimistic, but I doubt you'll ever see the car you paid for sitting in your garage.

Okay..
I'm lost here..
You mean there are people that ACTUALLY payed money up front for these EVO 7's BEFORE governement okay and EPA and DOT protocol/legal approval ???!!

With the sale of the US EVO 8, I gotta think the EI guys are on there way OUT the door..
Sorry, but watch for the OUT OF BIZ sign to be hanging..especially with cars sitting waiting for EPA and DOT approval....**** THAT..Talk about THICK RED TAPE...

If I were ANYONE that gave them money for those cars, I would get it back PRONTO and tell them to call you when their **** gets STRAIGHTENED OUT..

Or go buy the EVO 8 ansd start having some fun today..
