Clutch is gone...Please read

So anyways can you guys just verify that it's my clutch and not anything else.

The car slips in every single gear badly!!. The RPMS fly up about 2+k and then come back down. i can barely gain any speed but it does move..I didnt hear any noises underneath the car and it's just as easy to get in any gear as the day I bought it.

How safe is it to drive like this?...

I'm just making sure it's not my tranfer case or anyithing else

I'm in the exact same situation as you are. It sucks, waiting for my clutch. Havent felt the pull of my car for about a month now(about when it started). Look at the bright side, at least my mpg went up since there's no point into getting boost

my situation is a little worse than yours. mine will catch at 5k and then drop abck down to where it should be or just stay slipping at 5k until i hit the of that gear at 5k and keep going up to redline. i have 19,500 miles on it and i abused it to hell.

Well how many miles do you ahve on it and how did you launch it at the strip. I launched my car many times at least 10 and it still took the abuse, i even glazed it on my 2nd try of launching the car.

yup I'm there with ya ..I just dont want to hurt anything else, like my engine or tranny...Going through the clutch is nothing.

2 step.. 1.6 60 FT

I Think I'll skip going to the track for a while..Atleast not with the EVO. I have a little FWD project in the works that I think can hit high 11s..

How many miles did you have on the clutch when you were at the track?

Damn! Unless you've been launching all day and everyday I can't imagine your clutch going out on you so quick.

Yeah, I would have thought it would last longer.

Do you know what clutch you're gonna get yet?

Try to adjust it. There may be some life left in it. If you can't adjust any bite into it, then stop driving it before something bad happens IMHO.
