Right. There are not too many cars that will keep up with a Evo in the rain or snow. AWD is sure a nice thing to have.

i love evos but i hate when people say "wait till it rains"
a honda civic guy could say his car has the best gas milage etc etc
evos are great cars and you win some you lose some, but comparing 4wd cars rain traction to a rear wheel drive is pointless. And it has nothing to do with drag racing.

thanks!

no races that night.. but the night before i was at RSD (real street drags) at GLD and wooped up on a new C5 that thought he was the **** with a loud *** exhaust.. beat him by 5 cars! good times for sure!!

i ran with some 100 oct in the tank (50/50) (but didnt lean the safc out tho.. only ran with safe settings cus i wanna get my 100 oct settings done on a dyno first) and also managed to stay dead even with a suped up WS6 on the highway on the way home from GLD (60-130mph run)!!

next RSD is july 17th! u should come!

RSD is this thing they started up to let street racers race for money on the track (safely).. The cool thing compared to a regular day is that this day they let you "spot out" and/or get "hits" and whatever you want.. They flag the start if it's with spots.. If it's "heads up" it's off the tree and they show who wins on the ET boards by lighting up a dot so the audience can see...

There were supposed to be 2 really awesome races that night, that got cancelled due to car issues.. One was Marco (8.8sec supra ) against Tuff (Old school big block) and one was "The Crane" against "SlowSI00".. Lots of sidebets too on those races!!!

The races usually get started from a lot of trash talking on chitownracing.com or mwir.net or just at local meets..

I recommend anyone to go to this.. both spectators and street racers!.. You dont have to race for money .. it could just be for fun too... You can walk around and check out the awesome rides and see if they will race you..

Good times!!
