I made a boost leak test and im trying to perform the test right now. Ive pumped quit a bit of air in to the test already, but there is no pressure yet. How long do i have to pump air for to get to 20 psi+/- ?

Here is the problem i am having. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=275119

I made the tester, put it on the turbo where the intake would go. Im using a 50 gallon compressor so i have a constant air supply. This morning i saw 19 psi @ WOT. Ive pumped alot of air in.....NOTHING HAPPENS

Did you try TDC on a warmed up motor ?

If you did and its still not working take off the IC hose from the TB and plug it (The bottom of a spray paint can works for me with a hose clamp , but it could get messy if the can pops off .... So i tape the can down , getto but it works)

Now your boost gauge in the will not read any boost and the BOV will leak so it needs to be removed and the hose pluged .

I have a valve stim on my tester and use a tire gauge to test psi
And i have a IX BOV so i just flip it around and it holds psi while testing.

I've been down this road before and it ended up being a stuck EGR valve. Listen for any air coming out of the exhaust.

MATT55. I tried what you suggested. It worked. Not with a a spray can though. It ended up being a blown gasket inbetween the turbo and the LICP. No one with in 3 hours has the gasket though so i put a thermostat gasket to get me home
