Intake Flutter? [NEED HELP ASAP]
Guys, sometimes the flutter is a normal occurance. I figured this out when after checking that the installation was correct; I did research on how the BOV actually works. There's a great thread about it from Forge and another guy that I don't recall at the moment.
There will be times when at lower boost levels the boost pressure isn't enough to completely open the valve--therefore you will get the flutter. If your bov makes the "pssshh" most of the time (at moderate to higher boost let off) and "psh-psh-psh" at lower boost and light throttle modulation than your BOV is working as it should. You'll have to get used to completely letting off the throttle instead of slightly lifting it while cruising at lower boost levels. This is not to be confused with compressor surge (when your car shudders because the charged boost pressure has made it all the way back to the compressor outlet and stalled the blades).
I have on occasion however experienced a tad bit of compressor surge on the stock turbo when the DV didn't let out all the boost pressure fast enough. But again, letting off the throttle quickly instead of slowly usually will avert that problem.

Yes that is the right way. Bottom port to UICP and side port to intake. Guys the metal valve will flutter at part throttle boosting thats the name of the game with the stronger valve. 5th gear on the highway you will get this aloot when you take you foot off the gas.
